ABOUT
EREFY
Tech Lead / Full-stack Engineer
I'm a web engineer with over 12 years of experience, ranging from contract development to building and operating large-scale web services. Most recently, I led a three-year initiative to migrate our company's product infrastructure to the cloud, while modernizing our development environment and driving the adoption of AI across the engineering organization. More than pure technical curiosity, what has always driven me is untangling whatever is stuck and turning the fix into a system. I draw on backend, infrastructure, and AI as the problem calls for, clearing the way for the product and the team behind it to keep moving forward.
WORK STYLE
Sort it out first
Before writing any code, I break the problem into technology, organization, operations, and user experience to find what is actually stuck.
Start small
Small experiments before big plans. Only what proves its worth gets scaled up.
Make it keep working
Rather than one-off fixes, I fold solutions into CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, and AI agents — so the next time is easier.
See it through to operations
Shipping isn't solving. I stay through adoption and culture-building after a migration or rollout.
WHAT I WORK ON
Not a list of what I can do — these are the problems I'm actually working on.
Improving long-running services
Maintaining and improving services that have been around for years, including paying down technical debt.
Cloud migration
Moving infrastructure from on-premises to AWS — from planning through execution and post-migration adoption.
Developer experience
Improving the flow of development itself: CI/CD, monitoring, PR preview environments.
AI adoption
Introducing AI agents, spec-QA bots, and error-triage bots in ways that fit how the team already works.
Personal projects
Turning things I love into services for searching, archiving, and sharing.
SKILL
I work across the stack, from a backend foundation out to infrastructure and frontend. These are tools, though — the through line is untangling problems and turning fixes into systems. I care about scalable architecture and a great developer experience.

HISTORY
Led a three-year migration of the service's infrastructure from on-premises to AWS. Built out CI/CD and observability to elevate the developer experience, and more recently have been driving AI adoption across the division.
Maintained and developed a company-review platform, balancing the repayment of technical debt with new feature work to support the service's long-term growth.
Delivered a wide range of web systems and apps on contract — social networks, e-commerce, e-learning, and social games. Later led a PHP-to-Rails migration and the introduction of Docker.
CAREER
Contract work gave me breadth, large-scale services gave me depth, the AWS migration taught me systems, and AI adoption is what comes next. In every chapter the work has been the same: find the bottleneck and see the fix through to operations.
What I aim to be: an engineer who accelerates a service's growth through technology. I keep a strong footing in proven, standard technologies (Rails / AWS) while investing early in emerging areas like AI agents.
- Strengths — Fast learner / problem solver / strong sense of ownership
- Expertise — Maintaining and improving large-scale services, cloud migration, standardizing development environments, and championing AI adoption
- What's next — Solving the challenges of growth phases where users and the business scale 10x or 100x
- Open to — Contract development, technical advisory & sparring, speaking, writing, and interviews — all on the side. Details on the Contact page
FAVORITES
I'm a fan of light novels, anime, and cheering on VTubers. Lately I've been enjoying personal projects built around a VSinger I'm rooting for.
What I enjoy is giving the culture I love a shape — something you can search, archive, showcase, and share. At the root, it's the same instinct as turning problems into systems at work.
